Career options after BA

A is an acronym for Bachelor of Arts.  Holder of BA is an individual who has a graduation degree in Arts and Science.  It is the first university degree.

  1. Government jobs

BA pass candidates can appear for various exams like Combined Defence Service exam, Staff selection commission exams.  If their pass marks are in line with pass percentage requirements of the above exams, they will be absorbed into various Government posts.

The Indian Public Service is the most prestigious service in India.  Joining this service is a dream for millions of young aspirants in this country.

A BA graduate is equally qualified as B.E., B.Com or B.Tech, MBA, MBBS, CA or any higher educationally qualified candidate to sit in the UPSC exam, the entry ticket to this reputed and top order service. So, BA students can be an IAS officer, an IPS officer, an officer in Indian Foreign service etc.
